Height
This is the measurement that is given first when
ordering a screen. Measure at the left, middle, and right to capture
any variances.
Round up to 1/4 increments.
Width
The width is measured from
side to side. Measure at the top, middle, and bottom to capture any
variances. Round up to 1/4 increments.
United Inches
This
is the method of calculating the cost of materials in window products.
To
get the united inches for each window, add the height and the width.
If
you have more that one window, add all the heights and widths together to
get the united inches for all your windows. (I.E. Height = 55 and Width = 36,
United Inches =91)
Tip:
You can add all heights together, enter that number in the estimate field, then add all widths together,
and
enter that number in the estimate field.
This will give you an idea of the total cost for the job.
Be sure to add
any additional costs for irregularities afterward.
